2026 Regional specialty AKC Show - NEW IN 2026!

Boerboel Expo is adding a regional specialty AKC show in conjunction with the American Boerboel Club, AKC parent club. This show features only Boerboels. Each dog can be exhibited ("handled") by it's breeder, owner, or the owner's chosen "handler". Entry fee is $30 per dog, registration is via ABC.
Eligibility:
- Six months or older on the day of the show
- Registered with the AKC (Process outlined in below attachment)
- NOT spayed or neutered
- No disqualifying faults, as stated by their breed's parent club organization Breed Standard. The closer the dog aligns with their breed standard, the better the chance they have at winning.
- In sound health and up to date on vaccinations.
AKC FARM DOG CERTIFICATION
The history of the Boerboel breed is deeply rooted in the need for a strong, versatile dog to guard farms and livestock in South Africa. Boerboel translates to "farmers dog" in Afrikaans.
The goal of this test is to assess your dogs aptitude as a working farm dog by exhibiting self-control, confidence and trust with you or his handler.
This is a BY APPOINTMENT opportunity due to space requirements and privacy. You MUST pre-register for this testing. Registration package and instruction below.
Cost is $35 per test.
